Ballet is a traditional and beautiful style of dance.
Using the ISTD grading system we work our way through the syllabus developing strength, flexibility, technique and performance.

The ISTD Grade 3 Imperial Classical Ballet class builds foundational English classical technique, focusing on coordination, musicality, and posture for dancers.

Barre Work: Introduces more complex coordination with deeper pliés, tighter foot positions (including 5th position), and rhythmic extensions.
Centre Practice: Focuses on port de bras (arm movements), balanced centre work, and smoother transitions from minor to major directions of the body.
Allegro: Builds small jumping combinations, working on spring, alignment, and landing technique.
